AI Reasoning, Your Slips Are Showing

An old post from a few months ago I never got around to finishing. Its about how AI models with so-called reasoning are not a fix for the LLM problems, and the whole thing is not "new tech".

Hi all - I’m on a break right now, but I have this one sitting in my drafts folder, so I decided to dust it off and ship it out. Fair warning, it rambles a bit and I wasn’t 100% happy with it. My gripe is with this idea that an LLM can “reason”. But since AI is a moving target I decided to just press “publish” on it. Let me know if it sparks any though…
